- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Anti-Ballistic Missile Test (ABM) that has been done by China in 2013 does not received a positive feedback especially from the United States. This research aims to know how is the respond of United State toward China’s Anti-Ballistic Missile Test which is released in 2013. The research problem of in this study is analyzed by the use of two theories, theory of international politics and theory of national security. The type of this research is descriptive analysis, and the data presented are secondary which obtained by library research and the data analysis technique used is qualitative.The results of this study shows that America’s respond toward China’s Anti-Ballistic Missile Test based on the Pivot to Pacific strategy, by using two approaches, military and politic, that applied through expansion of ballistic missile by United State and political cooperation with United States Alliance in East Asia.
