  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Indian government’s efforts to reduce extreme poverty and people who suffer from hunger, the government issued a long-term development program to ensure people’s income, food security, human resources development and social transformation. The programs has showed mixed results in achieving the targets of the MDGs, halve the number of people living below the poverty line has been reached, however, in effort to reduce by half the population living with suffering from hunger, the program runs very slowly. And it comes very difficult to achieve a balanced employment opportunities, especially opportunity for women and young people.
