  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Plastic waste is an environmental issue that is being discussed due to the harm it is causing to the environment, particularly the oceans. This is due to society’s way of life, the amount of plastic waste produced is increasing, but it is not being balanced by good waste management. The purpose of this research is to discover what Greenpeace’s efforts, as an international organization that works on environmental issues, reduce plastic waste in Indonesia. The descriptive research method was used, as well as secondary data obtained from literature, reports, books, and a valid website. Social Movement Theory and International Organizations were used as analysis tools in this study. The results of the study demonstrated Greenpeace’s efforts to reduce waste in Indonesia by conducting research on plastic waste in Indonesia, negotiating with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies, monitoring and identifying plastic waste, and initiating a campaign called #PantangPlastik.

Despite criticism of the civilian casualties, the US continues to use drones in Syria.This study aims to analyze and explain the reasons for the use of drones by the United States during the Syrian Conflict in 2013. The research method used is explanatory with secondary data types. The analysis technique used is qualitative. The theory used is Political Realism. The results of this study indicate that the US Government’s interest in the use of drones leads to economic interests, while military interests and political interests are supporting the success of drone promotion. However, these three interests is aim to increase power.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Saudi Arabia has strategic ties with the United States in defense cooperation, especially on the arms trade. But in 2017, Saudi Arabia also conducted defense cooperation with Russia by making arms deal. Arms deal between Saudi Arabia and Russia received a negative response from the United States. However, Saudi Arabia still continued its cooperation with Russia. The research aims to explore the reason of Saudi Arabia to establish arms deal with Russia in 2017. An approach that used in this research is concept of national interest by Hans J. Morgenthau and determination of the national interest by Donald E. Nuechterlein. As the result, there are two main interests of Saudi Arabia. First was defense interest to maintain security, develop military industry and seek support from Russia to establish Saudi Arabia’s international center against terrorism. Second, to achieve Saudi Arabia’s political interest on maintaining its political system in the Middle East and use this agreement to suppress Iran’s movements in the region.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Penelitian ini tentang konflik kebijakan The Citizenship Amendment Bill Tahun 2019 yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis konflik yang terjadi antara Pemerintah dan masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konflik yang terjadi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat serta partai oposisi terkait penerapan Kebijakan CAB Tahun 2019 didasarkan pada kebutuhan dari masing-masing pihak yang saling berseberangan. Pemerintah melalui kebijakan CAB menginginkan adanya persebaran misi Hindutva ke dalam bagian perpolitikan di India sebagai negara yang mayoritas agamanya adalah Hindu dan sekaligus melindungi kaum-kaum minoritas yang beragama Hindu, Budha, Kristen, Jain, Parsi, dan Sinkh dari Afghanistan, Pakistan, dan Bangladesh dengan memberikan status kewarganegaraan India. Sedangkan masyarakat dan pihak oposisi menganggap kebijakan tersebut bertentangan dengan konstitusi India yang menjunjung tinggi asas pluralisme dan menginginkan adanya pembatalan atas penerapan kebijakan CAB oleh pemerintah.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to explains the reason behind Turkish intervention. The research method used in preparing this thesis is explanative type. Data collection techniques use literature studies or references related to research topics and the type of data used is secondary data. The analysis technique uses is qualitative. In this study, researcher used the concept of Intervention. The results of this study show that the reason of Turkish government to intervene in oil and gas exploration at Greek Cyprus because Turkey wants to protect the rights, interests, and safety of Turkish citizen at TRNC. Those acts are based on constitutionally that Republic of Cyprus can’t represent the whole Cyprus island. Furthermore, Turkish reason is also affected by the TRNC position as a protectorate of Turkey where the scholars have described the Turkey – TRNC relations as a mother land and baby land. Likewise, Turkey’s claim of violation of maritime boundaries by the Republic of Cyprus became Turkey’s reason for intervening.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Abstract : Multinational companies in Ireland has been one of the main source of tax income for Ireland, one of which is Apple, Apple is the largest company located in Ireland with billions of profit every years, but accused by European Commision for doing tax evasion practice in Ireland. Despite the accusation, Ireland deny the ruling by European Commision on Apple’s tax problem. This articles aims to explains what reasons are causing Ireland to deny recommendation from European Commision on Apple’s tax. The research method that implemented in preparing the thesis is explanative. The theories used to analyze the problems is rational choice and international finance. The results of the reasons of Ireland to deny the recommendation of European Commision on Apple’s tax, because of three reasons. The first one is to protect Ireland’s investment climate, the second reason is the contributions of USA’s owned multinational companies for Ireland and the third reason is to protect Ireland’s sovereignty of their nation especially in tax ruling.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to see the impact of China’s Foreign Waste Ban policy on the conditions of UK waste imports in 2018-2021. The research method used in compiling this thesis is descriptive. The type of data used is secondary data. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The data techniqueused is literature study. Research results showed the impact of China foreign waste policies on UK waste imports, make a change with the response of the British public to reduce waste problems by changing their lifestyle. This lifestyle change is carried out by conducting campaigns using single-use plastics such as shopping plastics, plastic food containers, plastic straws, plastic cotton buds, plastic tootbrushs, and others. In addition to the single- use plastic campaign, British public are also pirating beaches and rivers in the UK, as a movementto save the environment and pay more attention to waste management in the UK. This British public movement then stimulated awareness at the level of several multinational corporations in the UK such as fast food restaurants, minimarkets and coffee shops to no longer use disposable plastic food containers to reduce the amount of waste in the UK. Changes in the lifestyle of the community and multinational corporations were then able to make the UK government issue policies that were compatible with the environment such as the ban of use single-use plastics, implementing plastic bottle deposit schemes, increasing reduction schemes, reusing, recycling, and finding new markets for UK waste exports.

Iran promises to build a 5000 MW Mobile Power Plant. However, unitl now Iran side has not carried out development at all even though Indonesia really hopes for such development. Therefore, it’s estimed that Iran will experience barriers in the development MPP in Indonesia. Iran barriers in the development the MPP in Indonesia are, due to US economic embargo against Iran in 2018, Iran’ involvement in helping the conflict in Yemen, especially the Houthi group, and Iran technology in this case the MPP which was implemented in Iran last year 2017.
