- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to see the impact of China’s Foreign Waste Ban policy on the conditions of UK waste imports in 2018-2021. The research method used in compiling this thesis is descriptive. The type of data used is secondary data. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The data techniqueused is literature study. Research results showed the impact of China foreign waste policies on UK waste imports, make a change with the response of the British public to reduce waste problems by changing their lifestyle. This lifestyle change is carried out by conducting campaigns using single-use plastics such as shopping plastics, plastic food containers, plastic straws, plastic cotton buds, plastic tootbrushs, and others. In addition to the single- use plastic campaign, British public are also pirating beaches and rivers in the UK, as a movementto save the environment and pay more attention to waste management in the UK. This British public movement then stimulated awareness at the level of several multinational corporations in the UK such as fast food restaurants, minimarkets and coffee shops to no longer use disposable plastic food containers to reduce the amount of waste in the UK. Changes in the lifestyle of the community and multinational corporations were then able to make the UK government issue policies that were compatible with the environment such as the ban of use single-use plastics, implementing plastic bottle deposit schemes, increasing reduction schemes, reusing, recycling, and finding new markets for UK waste exports.
