  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): There are always the threats of bushfires in Australia. These threats include lightning strikes, burning based on land clearing, insufficient rain intensity, and others. In September 2019, very severe fires occurred in several areas of Australia with the largest intensity and size of the fire compared to large fires in previous years in Australia. The fire that occurred from September 2019 to March 2020 is known as Black Summer which destroys and eliminates the habitat of Australia’s wildlife. 143 million mammals, 2.46 billion reptiles, 180 million birds and 51 million frogs also died in these bushfires. In dealing with the impact of the fires, the Australian government formed The National Bushfire Recovery Agency and committed to providing $200 million in funding. However, this financial assistance is considered insufficient for animal restoration and conservation programs in Australia. These funds are also considered to be distributed slowly and only prioritized for large programs so that other parties in animal conservation and habitat restoration, such as WWF, are needed. WWF is an independent organization that focuses on restoring animals, nature and protecting the environment. In response to Black Summer’s impact In Australia, WWF carries out conservation programs using in situ and ex situ methods. The program named “The WWF Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund” and based on 3 values Respond, Restore, and Protect. The program has 8 main focuses, wildlife responders and recovery, recover species and adaptation, habitat and landscape restoration, wildlife and climate laws, global climate emergency, stabilize climate change, indigeneous engagement, and innovation and engagement. For long-term conservation efforts, WWF collaborates with other organizations launched a program called Regenerate Australia with 5 work programs, namely koalas forever, towards two billion trees, renewables nation, innovate to regenerate, and rewilding Australia.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States (AUKUS) is a trilateral defense pact initiated by three major countries in the world, namely Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. On September 15, 2021. The idea of AUKUS was also formed to focus on cutting-edge technologies in the field of security and defense, particularly in the development of quantum technology. The cooperation also has a plan that will involve information exchange, underwater capability development, and can be mutually beneficial in developing the security industrial base. The AUKUS pact itself is expected to enhance collective capabilities in the security sector, especially in the mission of preventing Chinese expansionism, especially in the Indo-Pacific region. From the United States’ point of view, AUKUS is seen as a strategy of the United States to maintain its dominance in international relations, particularly regarding competition between the United States and China, through the achievement of sea power. The purpose of this study is to determine China’s strategy in responding to the formation of the AUKUS pact. This research is a type of qualitative research using descriptive research methods, data collection techniques using literature studies whose data sources are secondary data sources because they are obtained through books, journals and also the internet. In addition, this research uses Neorealism and Balance of Power theories which are used to identify existing problems so as to reach the stage of making decisions. The results of the study found that China’s strategy in responding to the establishment of the AUKUS pact is to carry out a Speech Act such as open criticism to emphasize that the AUKUS agreement is harmful to many parties. This is also supported by China’s strong statement that the agreement between the three countries is a new model of Western provocation. China considers AUKUS to be a threat to regional security, especially in the Indo-Pacific region. China’s military modernization has also been strengthened by aggressive military activity with its closest ally, Russia.

This study uses exploratory research methods with literature review data collection techniques and uses secondary data types. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis technique. In this study, researchers used the theory of corruption. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by Lenin Moreno in overcoming corruption in Ecuador were carried out through the penal route or using more criminal law in eradicating corruption. In this case, there are four efforts that are the focus of the discussion taken by the author which are broken down into two parts, namely internal penal efforts in the form of investigations and investigations into the Rafael Correa case, external penal efforts in the form of the ATS-G Cooperation agreement, International republican Institute collaboration and the establishment of CEICCE commission.

With this type of descriptive research, this research uses secondary data sources. By using the technique of literature, interviews, and documentation in data collection. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner, by linking field data with theories, principles, and legal principles obtained from literature studies. The research findings indicate that the role of the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) in conserving the Owa in Central Kalimantan is significant. BKSDA Central Kalimantan plays a crucial role in conserving the Owa and its habitat through management, research, law enforcement, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

This research uses a qualitative research method with an explanatory type. The types of data obtained are primary and secondary data obtained from books, journals, internet sites, previous theses and other literature relevant to the research problem. The results of this study indicate that the United States is involved in the conflict is not new because there are national interests to be achieved, namely economic interests. These interests are obtained by the United States from military assistance provided to Ukraine by selling and lending military equipment. The benefits can be seen from the rapid increase in weapons manufacturers and sales.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This Research aims to analyze the efforts of the local governments in dealing with cross- border trade on the border of Indonesia (Long Midang) and Malaysia (Ba’ Kelalan) during the period of COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative method and the data was collected by in-depth interviews and field observations. The results of the research show that local governments have made various efforts to deal with cross-border trade during the COVID- 19 pandemic, such as setting the operating hours of traditional markets, increasing supervision and law enforcement, and providing financial and non-financial assistance to business actors. However, there are still obstacles to be faced in implementing these efforts, such as limited human and funding resources, as well as violation of health protocols by some business actors. This research recommends the local governments to improve inter-agency coordination in dealing with cross-border trade during the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, provide assistance and training to business actors regarding the implementation of health protocols. Furthermore, the local governments need to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the efforts in dealing with cross-border trade during the COVID-19 pandemic periodicaly.

Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengapa Amerika Serikat mengeluarkan Hong Kong Autonomy Act 2020 sebagai respon atas dikeluarkannya Undang-Undang Keamanan Nasional Hong Kong Tahun 2020.Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teori pengambilan keputusan milik Snyder sebagai alat analisis. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan AS dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi undang-undang tersebut bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai demokrasi Amerika Serikat, Senat AS mendesak pengesahan undang-undang ini, dan ada kekhawatiran dari para pelaku bisnis AS di Hong Kong, sedangkan faktor eksternal Pemerintah China mengesahkan Undang-Undang Keamanan Nasional Hong Kong Tahun 2020, dan ada tekanan dari masyarakat Hong Kong untuk meminta bantuan kepada Amerika Serikat.

This research aims to find out what the role is UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) in dealing with child victims of the 2018-2020 earthquake in Lombok. This research is categorized as a type of descriptive research with data analysis techniques qualitative . The data collection technique used in this research is library research. This research uses Clive Archer’s theory of the role of international organizations to explain the research questions. The research results show that UNICEF as an international organization has played its role as an independent actor, UNICEF is increasing recovery activities in in the fields of education, health and nutrition, as well as child protection and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) needs in affected areas as well as UNICEF Indonesia From 2018 to 2020 has providing emergency cash assistance as part of its national strategic action plan, through the provision of multi-sector direct cash assistance, families with children aged 0–6 years who are the most vulnerable can meet their basic needs, namely food security, health, education, as well as water, sanitation and better cleanliness.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Islamopobia di Eropa tepatnya di Inggris sangat mengkhawatirkan dimana pasca serangan 9/11 seperti lahirnya prasangka dan streotipe seperti menggeneralisasikan semua umat Muslim dengan identik melakukan kekerasan dan teror. Islamophobia sudah muncul sejak lama saat kebudayaan barat dan Islam bersinggungan, sejak Imigran – imigran yang berasal Afrika timur dan Asia selatan yg kebanyakan imigran Muslim datang ke Inggris untuk mencari tempat tinggal. Menjelang hampir 2 dekade pasca peristiwa 9/11. Namun di Inggris terutama umat Muslim disana masih menghadapi diskriminasi yang tidak berdasar yang mana dikenal dengan Islamophobia. Dimana Muslim Council of Britain hadir dalam mengupayakan permasalahan tersebut dengan menginisiatif kampanye nasional “Visit My Mosque” yang didirikan pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka dengan sumber data didapatkan melalui buku-buku, jurnal, dan juga internet. Melalui bantuan kerangka teoritis berupa teori social movement setidaknya didapatkan upaya Muslim Council of Britain dalam mengatasi Islamophobia di Inggris.

However, this cooperation has problems and opposition from many parties. This article aims to explain the reason why Australia decided to join the AUKUS past security cooperation. The method of this research is explanatory research, using secondary data and qualitative technique of data analysis. The theory used in this research is Neoralism. The result of this research showed that the reason why Australia joined the AUKUS past security cooperation based on defense and security consideration owing to the fact that Tiongkok’s modernization and aggressiveness drove Australia’s strategic Environment worsened which can be found in 2020 Australia defence strategic update document. By joining AUKUS Pact, Australia can strengthen their defence and security through three factors, which are : (1) Nuclear powered submarine, (2) Development of high-level military capabilities, (3) Protection/ Extended detterence
