Departement of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University. This research aim to knowing the impact of Asian Games 2018 to the visits of foreign tourist in Indonesia. The data analysis technique that will be used on this study is qualitative data by seeing data from the website and some sources that related to the writer’s topic. The results of the studies that have been done is showed that Asian Games 2018 gave an impact to the development of foreign tourist in Indonesia, there’s an improvement to the visits of foreign tourist Indonesia. In this case, Indonesia as a host of the Asian Games 2018 pretty much have done a good job utilizing the Asian Games to bring in foreign tourist to Indonesia during the held of Asian Games. The Asian Games event is giving an event impact that cause the improvement of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia with 78.864 visits. However, the number of foreign tourist that come to Indonesia doesn’t have a significant effect to the total number of 2018 foreign tourists visits.

Kebijakan ini mengatur mengenai pebatasan-pembatasan aktivitas sosial dan ekonomi di Malaysia maupun di wilayah perbatasan Malaysia dan Indonesia salah satunya adalah wilayah perbatasan Krayan-Ba’kelalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) atau Movement Control Order (MCO) terhadap perdagangan lintas batas di wilayah perbatasan Krayan-Ba’kelalan. Hal ini dilakukan mengingat masyarakat di perbatasan Krayan-Ba’kelalan sangat tergantung kepada Malaysia dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok sehari-hari. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran secara jelas mengenai dampak yang diakibatkan oleh Kebijakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) atau Movement Control Order (MCO) Pemerintah Malaysia terhadap kehidupan masyarakat di wilayah perbatasan Krayan-Ba’kelalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya Dampak Kebijakan Movement Control Order (MCO) pemerintah Malaysia terhadap sektor ekonomi dikarenakan perdagangan lintas batas Krayan-Ba’kelalan harus terhenti sehingga masyarakat tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pokok dari Malaysia. Selain itu, masyarakat juga tidak dapat menjualkan hasil pertanian dan perkebunan ke Malaysia yang mempengaruhi turunnya pendapatan masyarakat Krayan.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Yemen conflict is a conflict between the government and the Houthi rebel group since 2004. The Houthi group originates from North Yemen. The conflict that occurred in 2014 caused Mansour Hadi to flee to Riyadh because the capital city of Sana’a was controlled by the Houthis. In Riyadh, Mansour Hadi sent an official letter to the leaders of the Arabian peninsula. Saudi Arabia initiated the formation of the Arab Coalition to respond to Mansour Hadi, namely the steps taken to resolve the Yemen conflict were militaristic. The UAE joined the Arab Coalition to coincide with the decline in GDP, usually the UAE government puts its economic development first and the UAE adheres to the principle of non-intervention so it is quite surprising that the UAE joined the Arab Coalition.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to analyze the reasons why the Indonesian government did not renew the contract of Total E&P Indonesie (TEPI) and Inpex Corporation in the Mahakam Block in 2015. The data used are primary data types obtained by the writer through direct interviews and secondary data obtained by the writer through the literature review from books, journals and internet access that contains data and relevant information to the research. The results showed that the bureaucratic actors which are Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Commission VII DPR RI, the Special Task Force for the Implementation of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK MIGAS) give consideration to influence President Joko Widodo’s decision regarding the Mahakam Block contract. However, President Joko Widodo’s decision has different reasons and considerations from the inputs and considerations presented by some bureaucratic actors. President Joko Widodo’s decision is based on considerations of national energy security and security, saving foreign exchange, increasing dividends for the country, domestic political stability and for the formation of an image that is not pro to foreign parties.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Transmigration & Immigration Ban policy was issued by President Trump to prevent the entry of terrorism from foreign countries, but the controversial policy was removed by President Biden, this article aims to explain the background of the abolition of the Transmigration & Immigration Ban policy by the United States Government under the leadership of President Biden against refugees from 7 Muslim-majority countries. This article uses an explanatory research type, uses secondary data with qualitative analysis techniques, and the theory used is the theory of decision making. The result of this study shows that the abolition of the policy by President Joe Biden was based on two factors, namely internal and external. For the first internal factor President Joe Biden abolishing this policy is contrary to democratic life in the US. the second is to protect US national security. third is President Biden’s campaign promise and fourth is the negative impact of the policy on the US economy. Then for the first external factor, namely the negative view of foreign countries towards the US. the second is to secure US national interests in the Middle East region.

The type of research used is descriptive. The data used is a type of secondary data obtained from books, journals, documents, magazines, newspapers, and the internet relevant to the research discussed by the author. The theory used is bilateral cooperation and soft diplomacy. The results of the study show that the cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea through the preparation of the Asian Games was carried out through sending athletes from several sports to practice in South Korea and with this collaboration South Korea had the advantage of asking the Indonesian side to assist and mediate in the unification of South Korea and North Korea for several sports. Cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea in the field of information technology with an IT company from South Korea, Ssangyong Information and Communication Corporation, which handles the development of an integrated information system in the implementation of the 2018 Asian Games and for cooperation in the entertainment sector of Indonesia and South Korea involves the invitation of several well-known artists who from South Korea, such as SNSD for Countdown to the Asian Games, and Super Junior and IKON for the closing ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games.

This study is a descriptive research type with secondary data source. Then, to explain the research question, author use the concept of Global Waste Trade. This study concludes that the United States’ response towards China’s National Sword policy is to protest China to the World Trade Organization (WTO) under the reason that China has carry overly strict trade restrictions on waste, utilize other trade partners to purchase its waste as a form of waste diversion in which China no longer import on a massive scale and also to optimise its national waste management by improving waste regulation and single-use plastic usage limitation.
