  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Early entry of drugs in the Philippines was preceded by the entry of opium-type drugs used by the Moro tribe in Mindanao to provide a heady effect of consciousness that could attack or kill Spanish captains who colonized the Philippines at that time. But an American naval officer has discovered that opium that has spread among the public is not a means of gathering the courage to fight the invaders again but is used as a result of opium addiction. Drug abuse in the Philippines continued until the reign of Rodrigo Duterte, so President Duterte took a firm stance in eradicating drug abuse in the Philippines. Duterte reinstated some of the contents of the 9165 republic act with the maximum penalty of death, so that drug abusers will be shot dead if refused to be detained. According to the concept of human rights, such acts are not justified because of violations contained in the universal declaration of human rights in which allegations of drug abuse are not punishable by the courts of law to be enforced. So that action gets criticized from various international community and one of them is international amnesty. This study shows that the response of international amnesty to the way of drug eradication in the Philippines during the time of Rodrigo Duterte has 4 responses, namely to appeal to the Philippine Senate for investigation, to conduct a direct investigation by an international amnesty, to invite the international community to act in rejection. Through that response, amnesty international wants the policy to be stopped.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Arms embargo on Vietnam is one of the foreign policy of the United States of America after Vietnam War, as a form of unsupportiveness towards communism regime in Vietnam. This embargo had started since 1975, and lifted completely on May 23rd, 2016, during US President Barrack Obama Visit to Vietnam. This abolishment of embargo considered as a strategic move because of the rising tension from China, involving the conflict in South China Sea. The purpose of this study was to determine the US foreign policy-making in revoking the arms embargo on Vietnam during Barrack Obama’s administration from 2009-2016. This study used qualitative research methods. In this study,the author use the concept of foreign policy making, and arms embargo concepts to perform the analysis in this study. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. Thisrevokement of arms embargo was taken to hold the rising power of China, which started since the normalization of trade with Vietnam in 1995, to maintain the overpowering china’s military power in South China Sea.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to provide an explaination for the implementation of waste management cooperation between Probolinggo and Helsingborg through the symbiocity concept in Probolinggo. This type of research is descriptive by using secondary data. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. Theory or concept used in this research is concept of cooperation and environmentalism theory. The result of the research shows that the cooperation of Probolinggo and Helsingborg in waste management was effective in symbiocity program activities in helping to improve the quality of Probolinggo environment as evidenced by the decrease of waste pollution in Probolinggo city environment, decreasing the amount of garbage entering the final processing and the creation of green river area. This cooperation can work well because of the involving stakeholders such as the insitutions of both cities, and community in handling their environment. In addition to affecting the environment, poverty reduction is one of the positive impacts of symbiocity programs.

The method used in this thesis is explanative. The type of data used is secondary type. بيت فاينل Data collection technique that writer use is the form of library research and the data analysis technique is a qualitative analysis. The theory used in this thesis is international cooperation. The results showed that obstacles in the examination of migrant workers, among others: the problem of poor internet network constraints make Nunukan Hospital difficult to do SISKOTKLN (Computerized card system of foreign labor); health checks are not up to standard, still lack of medical examination of enzymes and X-ray devices whose data are directly updated to the computer; falsification of health workforce certificate of indonesia which involve unscrupulous company of Indonesia labor service delivery and health facility Indonesia workforce in manipulating the data / documents or certificates so that Candidates for Indonesian Workers can still be processed for the departure of work to Malaysia without going through the examination; and immigration documents of Indonesian Migrant Workers with expired period of validity.

The roles taken up by UNOCI in three phases of conflict resolution was able to minimize the intensity of the conflict. In the peacekeeping phase, UNOCI intervened militarily in securing the conflict situation. In the peacemaking phase, UNOCI mediates the conflicting parties and takes arbitration action against those who are found to be violating human rights and in the peacebuilding stages, UNOCI conducts human rights monitoring, reconciliation of political and economic conditions, supervision of border areas, and disarms of rebels

In this study the authors use the concept of national interest and the concept of public diplomacy through various tracks to conduct analysis in this study. And to achieve the purpose of the research, the research method used is descriptive research type with data collection techniques through library research. While to analyze data using qualitative analysis technique. The results shows that US public diplomacy to Cuba in the recovery of diplomatic relations through sports activities and using tracks of governments, citizen diplomacy and communication and media. Sports activities that made diplomacy are baseball diplomacy, basketball diplomacy and football diplomacy.
