- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of the paradiplomacy between the local government and the Republic of Seychelles in the development of ecotourism on the island of Maratua. Maratua Island is part of the Berau Regency region in eastern Kalimantan. This island is ideal for swimming, diving, and snorkeling. Maratua Island known as the coral triangle as an underwater life paradise, a beautiful underwater park with a great variety of fish, corals, green turtles, manta rays, and other aquatic animals. Maratua has great tourism potential, however, this tourism potential was the lack of management therefore the local government teamed up with the Republic of Seychelles to help the tourism sector, especially the ecotourism on Maratua island. The research method used is descriptive and includes primary and secondary data types. خطط الدومينو The analysis technique used is qualitative. The research used the concept of paradiplomacy and ecotourism. The results of this study show that local governments have started to promote their potential tourism and have learned to develop ecotourism. The Republic of Seychelles also helps to promote tourism and offers to build the tourism sector through the development of ecotourism on the island of Maratua. لفة المتعة
