In 2025, the energy that mostly being used is Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). Providing for the availability in the sector of LNG requires reliable experts. LNG production requires reliable expertise because the refinery operation is a very complex process. Therefore, PT. Badak NGL, which is a subholding of PT. Pertamina (Persero), has also developed into the realm of a new business sector, LNG Services. Among the companies that have collaborated with PT. Badak NGL in LNG Services, British Petroleum Berau Ltd. is a multinational company from the United Kingdom that has repeatedly collaborated in LNG Services. Therefore, this study aims to describe and analyze the multinational cooperation based on LNG Services, specifically Commissioning and Start-Up Assistance (CSUA) between PT. Badak NGL and British Petroleum Berau Ltd. at Tangguh LNG from 2020 to 2024. The analysis of the collaboration is reviewed through the concept of cooperation and multinational company (MNC). This collaboration is categorized as functional collaboration because PT. Badak NGL and British Petroleum Berau Ltd. have each function to achieve. Based on the functional cooperation, this cooperation is considered efficient in managing Tangguh LNG plant because PT. Badak NGL can provide the specifications required by British Petroleum Berau Ltd.
