The World Cup served as a strategic opportunity for Qatar to elevate its cultural and international standing, while strengthening diplomatic relations through a globally significant event. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through literature reviews, interviews, and observations. The findings reveal that Qatar employed cultural diplomacy through festivals, exhibitions, and performances that highlighted local heritage and innovation. The government played a central role, collaborating with cultural institutions, private sector actors, and community leaders. Key goals included improving Qatar’s global image, expanding cultural influence, and fostering diplomatic ties. The activities succeeded in drawing international attention, influencing perceptions of global audiences, and yielding long-term impacts such as enhanced cultural prominence and improved international relations
