- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Uyghurs is an ethnic group in Xinjiang. Xinjiang is the one of the region of China. However, the Chinese government has made policies that violate human rights against the Uyghurs. In 2020, the issue related to the Uyghur ethnicity had drawn public attention, it is due to a policy made by United State that called as the Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act. UHRPA aims to protect the Uyghurs, other minorities and also to stop human rights abuses by the Chinese government. This study aims to describe China’s response to the UHRPA 2020 of United States and uses the concept of international politics by K. J Holsti. The results of this study indicate that China’s response to the United States UHRPA in 2020 is a rejection. China did not acknowledge allegations of human rights violation by issuing denials through press conferences and publishing documents to explain the distribution of training, education, and welfare as workers for Uyghurs in Xinjiang. China even retaliated against the UHRPA policy issued by the United States by imposing sanctions on US companies and officials who contributed greatly to accusations against China for human rights violations in Xinjiang against Uyghurs.
