  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Abstract: Horticulture is an important commodity for Indonesia, to meet domestic horticultural needs Indonesia imports horticulture products from abroad, one of which is the US. The purpose of this article was to explain the condition of United States horticulture commodities trade in Indonesia’s market post the united states winning in the safeguard case in WTO. This research is a descriptive study with secondary data types and Interpretive data analysis techniques and data collection techniques used are library research. It uses the concept of free trade. The results shows that Indonesia is found guilty by the WTO. As a result, Indonesia revised its regulations through regulation Minister of Agriculture number 16 of 2017 as a revision regulation of Minister of Agriculture number 47 of 2013. In the revision, there is a change regarding the validity period of the Indonesian horticultural import permit, which was valid for 6 months, is changed to 1 year. Meanwhile, 20 types of imported horticultural products that are prohibited may enter Indonesia.
