Opportunities MEA will encourage employers are increasingly creative in the competitive situation and the positive effect of increasing the quality of goods, quality of human resources in Indonesia, as well as its competitive prices of goods and services. SMEs have a strategic role and can be relied upon to support the economy in Indonesia. Increased competitiveness of SMEs is an effort to improve the quality of products produced by SMEs in Indonesia in order to compete with other ASEAN countries. Berau as one district that is growing in Indonesia helped make improvements to their SME products to conform to the standard of ASEAN products. For that governments Berau district take several steps in order to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in the face of AEC 2015.
