Economic interests include the influence of illegal fishing on the fishery industry and biotechnology and defense industries, while the security interests include the issue of violations of territory due to illegal fishing activities and illegal theft of fish which violate the sovereignty of the exclusive economic zone of Indonesia. In this case, UN has the authority to determine this phenomenon of Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing crime to be treated legally as Transnational Organized Crime. tarneeb
