- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Cooperation of Indonesia,Malaysia and Singapore to Overcome The Piracy Activity in Malaka Straits, under the guidance of Uni Wahyuni Sagena M.Si, Ph.D as the first advisor and AndiPurnawarman as the second advisor, Internastional Relations Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Mulawarman 2015.Thepurpose of this research is toknow and to describesabout the form of the cooperation between Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore to overcome the piracy activity in Malaka Straits. This research has used descriptive analisys as its type of research. The analysis’ tools in this research are the Maritime Security Concept and the Regional Security Concept.The sampling data’s technique is using the library research, which is collecting any useful data from some literature that has connection with the problem in this research.The result of this research have shown that the cooperation had succesfully decreased the number of piracy activity in Malaka Straits and made Malaka Straits become safer than before. The cooperation’s success also made Thailand become involved in it, in order to maintain and increased the security in Malaka Straits.
