• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research describes how the Indonesian government’s efforts in promoting batik exports to the United States in 2008-2011. This study will look at the extent to which the Indonesian government to affect the volume of Indonesian batik exports to the United States. This study also attempted to analyze the impact of the financial crisis on exports in terms of economic aspects. Researchers are interested to discuss the Indonesian government’s efforts in promoting batik exports to the United States after the financial crisis to see the extent of the government’s efforts Indonesian batik affect export volume to the United States. This study uses qualitative-analysis. The data obtained from the internet, journals and books, then collected, summarized and analyzed. This study uses the absolute advantage, promoting the concept of diversification and promotion strategy concept. This study explores the efforts by the Indonesian government, to see the extent of the efforts made batik affect demand from the United States to contribute and increase foreign exchange earnings for the country.
