Sektor pariwisata merupakan komponen penting dari perekonomian Indonesia, dan Pangandaran merupakan salah satu tujuan pariwisata populer di Jawa Barat yang berkontribusi dalam perekonomian Indonesia.Namun, karena bencana tsunami pada tahun 2006 sangat mempengaruhi pariwisata di Pangandaran.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proyek STREAM telah membuat Pangandaran sebagai daerah pariwisata yang tahan terhadap perubahan iklim dan mampu meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan, baik lokal maupun asing.Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan efektivitas dari program STREAM di Pangandaran.Salah satu faktor keberhasilan proyek ini adalah keterlibatan masyarakat lokal dan masyarakat sekitar selama proyek dilaksanakan.Proyek STREAM di Pangandaran dilaksanakan oleh UNWTO bersama-sama dengan Kementerian Indonesia Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif.

This research has used descriptive analisys as its type of research. The analysis’ tools in this research are the Maritime Security Concept and the Regional Security Concept.The sampling data’s technique is using the library research, which is collecting any useful data from some literature that has connection with the problem in this research.The result of this research have shown that the cooperation had succesfully decreased the number of piracy activity in Malaka Straits and made Malaka Straits become safer than before. The cooperation’s success also made Thailand become involved in it, in order to maintain and increased the security in Malaka Straits.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to describe the efforts of Indonesian Migrant Workers Union (IMWU) on helping migrant workers to overcome an underpayment, which is majority problems that happened to migrant workers from Indonesia in Hongkong.The method used in this thesis is a descriptive explanative, where the author will explain it depicted objects, objectively described. Taken by how IMWUdoing many efforts on bring underpayment into awareness for Indonesian migrant workers and any other things they did. Based on the result of the study, it indicated that underpayment remains/still exist but in a very little number than its high precentage’s case in the 90’s. However, IMWU achieved the purpose to raise the awareness as well as help Indonesian migrant workers in Hongkong to getting their legitimate rights as a workers.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): United States and Mexico have conducted various cooperations to fight across border of money laundering from drug crime between the two countries but could not hit the high of that action. The purpose of this study is to describe The United States-Mexico cooperation to handling of Money Laundering from Mexico to United States on 2013. This study used descriptive research method. Money Laundering concept and Functional Cooperation Theory as conceptual framework are used to answer the reseach question. The results showed that US and Mexico agreed to Exchange Financial Information to Thwart Drug Crime on October 2013 approved by Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) under U.S. Department of The Treasury with La Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (CNBV) of Mexico. In this cooperation, both sides have found information tha the actors have used “funnel accounts” to launder their money, using Black Market Peso Exchange (BMPE) to transfer their money from US to Mexico. In addition to the information, the FinCEN has given a “red flag” on transactions deemed suspicious and then processed by financial institutions of US.
