One characteristic of a country that has sovereignty intact is having distinct territory. Air space above the territory of Indonesia can’t be separated from the threat like passed of other countries plane with low altitude without permission and can be considered to threaten the national security of Indonesia. With the existing threats, Indonesia in cooperation with South Korea in the manufacture of jet fighter for maintain territorial sovereignty Indonesia. The characteristics of this research is eksplanatif with qualitative analysis technique, by using national interest concept and military security theory. The results of this study were Indonesian reasons to cooperate manufacture of jet fighter to achieve self-reliance of defense equipment, develop engineering capabilities of Indonesian engineers and to strengthen security system and protect the airspace Indonesia.

This is because of the lack of defense and security makes many illegal cases occurred in Indonesian sea. Besides that, lack of utilization of marine resources in Indonesia and infrastructure that should be improved to all of that maritime based needs. So in 2014 Joko Widodo have new vision to make Indonesia to be world maritime shaft. The result of this research shows that Indonesia’s foreign policy is going to the world’s maritime shaft in the era of Joko Widodo is the development of the existed policy but also a new policy related to the upgrading of the defense and security to reduce the threads of maritime sovereignty to realize the vision and mission in his era of axis of the maritime. Joko Widodo is implementing the vision and mission of the world maritime shaft because of the condition of Indonesia and beside that he was inspired by the old maritime policy that once implemented by Soekarno.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Water quality of Cikapundung River as a raw water provider for Bandung increasingly decreased as a result of change in land uses which lack the environmental’s rule, riverside which prone to landslide, erosion, large fluctuation of water discharge, river narrowing caused illegal settlement construction, pollution from domestic, hospital & factory wastes, and sedimentation. In addition, water management was not optimally fullfill the need for clean water in Bandung. So, it encourage ESCAP (Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pasific) as an United Nations regional institution to develop ESWIn (Eco-sustainable Water Infrastructure) in revitalization of Cikapundung River. ESWIn bring a new method that implement the principle of environment and economic efficiency. By using descriptive method and secondary literature study with qualitative analitiycs, researcher try to describe the role of ESCAP as the initiator, fasilitator and assist in funding for the implementation of ESWIn. With some obstacles, ESCAP considered to be successful enough in intialize a new method for clean water management within the ESWIn’s framework

The present study uses descriptive methodology which compares other studies similar and the intervention concept with national interest concept provide an overview of analyze Intervention done by the U.S. in resolving Sa’dah’s rebellion in Yemen in 2004-2014. Data presented in this study is secondary data, which is obtained from literature review, journals, articles, scientific writings, and internet access which are deemed as relevant with the topic discussed in this study.The result of the study shows that Intervention done by the U.S. in resolving Al-Houthi rebel in Yemen in 2004-2014 indicates the importance of Yemen to the U.S. Yemen’s strategic position gains U.S. attention to rule Yemen. Yemen is a country which is located in international shipping channel, the Red Sea and Aden Gulf. If the U.S. can rule the area for its interest, they can control cargo ships that pass the areas according to their interest. In addition to the strategic position, the U.S. also sees natural resources potentials that Yemen has. Yemen has natural gas and oil reserves which will be lucrative if it is run properly without conflict.
