The cooperation between Indonesian government and UK government are supported forest governmance reform through Multistakeholder Forestry Programmed scheme. UK Provided 5 million punsterling grants that intended to improve forest governance by involved other stakeholders. This study aimed to describe and explain the result of aid cooperation UK to Indonesia, Multistakeholder Forestry Programme (MFP) with the aimed of improving forest governance in Indonesia, whiche in this study focused on one of the province of East Borneo. This Type of research is descriptive-analytic that is explained and analyzed how the cooperation between Indonesia and UK Scheme MFP work in Indonesia in general and particulary in East Borneo. This Study indicates that the cooperation between Indonesia and the UK are not separated from the interest of one of the parties to achieve one of the purposes. The outcome programmed of cooperation between Indonesia and the UK are implemented in one of the province in Indonesia, East Borneo, would be a benchmark for the implementation of this program in other areas that have forest resources.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The agriculture subsidy policy is one of issues that agreed in The Ninth Ministerial Conference of WTO in Bali, Indonesia in 2013. The Agreement is called “The Bali Package” contained three of Doha Agendas, namely: Trade Facilitation; Agriculture, Cotton; and Development and Least Developed Countries (LDC) Issues. The agriculture subsidy policy is in the agriculture agenda that related to Public Stockholding for Food Security Purposes. In the process of achieving the agreement, India refused to agree the package that had arranged until the end of official schedule of the conference. This is caused by India’s proposal related to agriculture subsidy was not fully agreed by the developed countries specially United States of America. India proposed to change the regulation about agriculture subsidy in WTO, from 10% to 15% of total national product and took it permanently to achieve food security. But in the extention time of the conference, India decided to agree the package that had arranged although the criteria of the agriculture subsidy inside of the package is not fully as India proposed early. India decision is influenced by the existence of India in the current system of the WTO and the influence of external facors of India foreign policy decision making.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Tengkawang was a potential plant and form of endemic Trees in West Borneo. Tengkawang utilization with was not worth the amount of the growth. Tengkawang’s blooming period was not known certainly yet, and dwindling in it was natural habitat as a consequence of logging practices and high levels of deforestation. Tengkawang was formerly easy to find, but now it becomes scarce. Cutting and other harvesting activities lead to declining natural tengkawang population.The research encountered by importace to protected genetic of tengkawang from degradation. According to Redlist IUCN several species of tengkawang are categorized as critically endangered, endangered and vulnerable. ITTO as forest organization try to keep tengkawang population. This research aimed to describes the role of International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) in attempt to conservation of genetic tengkawang in West borneo.The result showthat to ITTO main roleas adonorbut in their coorperation also helped implement conservation program. ITTO in coorperated with Indonesia government try toask people to conserve genetic of tengkawang. This tengkawang conservation efforts carried out in three districts in West Kalimantan by involving various stakeholders from both the Indonesian government. This program goes through three stages identification, conservation, and communication. In last program ITTO try to give alternative rule about protection of genetic tengkawang.

PT. Inalum move in PLTA sector and smelting of alumunium bars (ingot). Based on agreement cooperation ended on Oktober 31yh 2013. In cooperation aim to manage PT. Inalum and benefit that fell very less for country. One of the examplewas the result of production in unripe export to Japan and recycle be the last product in there. So the add value that got was very less. After that the comparison share much more than Japan from Indonesia. With the cooperation that alot, will be get advance to Japan, so the goverment of Indonesia do nasiolalization of PT. Inalum. Therefore also Indonesia national interest in nasionalize the company. Now the whises of Japan for still continued the cooperation was Japan do lobies for contract extension and increased the capacity of smelting alumunium bars factory. And side of NAA also did new investation. Although side of Japan was do alot of way for contract extension but Indonesia still did nationalization and never extension that contract. Indonesia was do effort for nationalization of PT. Inalum and this result from that effort was paid compensationto Japan
