The results showed that the factors causing an increase in human trafficking in West Borneo is influenced by geography and different levels of economic/livelihood in West Borneo border region, the effects of industrialization which led to a lack of employment and business opportunities, weakness of population administrative systems, lack of public knowledge about the form of human trafficking.
