- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The water crisis that occurred in Malaysia in 2014 caused water shortages in various regions. This makes the Malaysian government have to make various efforts at home and abroad to overcome this. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s foreign efforts are to renegotiate water prices in a bilateral water sale and purchase agreement with Singapore, where Johor and Singapore have a water sale and purchase agreement with Singapore until 2061. renegotiating the water purchase agreement with Singapore are holding various bilateral meetings between Malaysia and Singapore where it is noted that these efforts began in 2000 until 2021, where in 2019 Singapore agreed to increase the water purchase with Malaysia, it’s just that the two countries have not fully agreed on the new water price. Both Singapore and Malaysia are well aware of the importance of each other, and are constantly looking for ways and means to improve relations between the two countries.
