- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Poverty is caused by several things, such as limited natural resources, inadequate infrastructure, and low empowerment of women in a country. Therefore, women constitute a great proportion of the poor. One of the industries that absorb a lot of female labor in Burkina Faso is the traditional beer industry. This make UNIDO helps Burkina Faso through the traditional beer industry. The type of research used is descriptive with qualitative methods. In collecting data, this research uses secondary collection techniques. The results of this research indicate that the efforts made by UNIDO to female workers in the traditional beer industry are consists of three programs. The first program is to improve stove design to achieve optimal fuel efficiency, the second program is to stimulate market demand for Improved Cook Stoves (ICS), and the third program is to achieve market scale for ICS.
