Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to see how the BMF network in fighting for the Penan customary rights in Sarawak-Malaysia during 2005-2018. in this study it appears that BMF has succeeded in forming bonds with a number of international NGOs / NGOs in Sarawak even at the global level. This research uses Social Networking theory (The Strength Of Weak Ties) and the Concept of Indigenous Peoples which then shows that the relationship made by BMF succeeded in restoring the customary rights of the Penan people who had been seized because of a government project in granting concessions located on their customary land. there are at least 3 levels of networks that were successfully formed by BMF while trying to restore customary land rights of the Penan people. the three network levels are the Network in Sarawak, global in Switzerland, and the Global Network with special emphasis on customary rights and protection of tropical forests.
