  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Potentials in various Tourism Sector of East Borneo has benefits in the ASEAN Economic Community.The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the Potential of Tourism Sector in East Borneo in ASEAN Economic Community. This problem was analyzed using the concept of Tourism and Sustainable Tourism Concept. This study shows the various tourism sector potentials such as natural, cultural, and artificial tourism in East Borneo in the ASEAN Economic Community that we face today.With such Tourism potential, tourism sector in East Borneo is considered very good in generating foreign exchange. In addition, the sector is expected to be one of the sectors that can absorb as much power as possible, during this never-ending economic crisis. East Borneo has a great opportunity to compete in the international arena in terms of tourism because the capital owned by East Borneo itself has many features both in natural tourism, culture, and artificial tourism, if managed better by the local government, this tourism sector of East Borneo Can develop and increase the State’s foreign exchange.
