- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Genetically modified food produced by the United States and is distributed to the worldwide, one of them is European Union.This study aimed to determine the efforts to resolve trade disputes between the United States and the European Union in the case of Genetically Modified Food through the World Trade Organization. The research method used in this thesis is case study. Techniques of collecting data used literature or reference studies, and the type of data used is secondary data. Analytical technique used is qualitative analysis. The teory used is Institutional Bargaining Game Theory and Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of World Trade Organization (WTO). The results of this research show that Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to create a panel obtain solutions of trade disputes between the United States and the European Union on Genetically Modified Food products. The DSB did not manage to find a way out by only once creating the Panel, as it was a difficult case to deal with, because of the many findings and objections of the disputants. Thus, the panel was re-created and until 2008 still continues.
