  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The problem of child hunger in Yemen is an unresolved problem as the number continues to rise due to the conflict in the country, supported by Yemen as a poor country in the Arabian Peninsula. Research aims to identify the barriers experienced by UNICEF in addressing child hunger in Yemen. As well as explaining the role of UNICEF, and programs undertaken by UNICEF. The type of research used in this study is descriptive data presented are secondary data taken from books, mass media, articles, internet, and other sources that are considered relevant to the research problem. To analyze this research the author uses literature review technique. The concept used is the theory of International Organization and Concept of Hunger. The results show that UNICEF is running a malnutrition program through the Humanitarian Action Program for Children conducted in 2011-2016, this program can not completely eradicate child hunger, but this program can at least reduce the number of hunger that occurred in Yemen. The programs undertaken are inseparable from UNICEF’s obstacles, among others; Ongoing conflict conditions, access to inaccessible aid distribution, and poor food and funding increases
