- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIP’s) is an international agreement administered by the World Trade Organization (WTO) that sets down minimum standards for many forms of intellectual property (IP) regulation as applied to nationals of other WTO Members.TRIP’s was negotiated at the end of the Uruguay Round of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) in 1994. Its inclusion was the culmination of a program of intense lobbying by the United States, supported by the European Union, Japan and other developed nations.The purpose of this study is to describe “Indonesian Policy to apply TRIP’s (Trade Related aspect of Intellecttual Property Right’s) towards the ASEAN Economic Community”,.The result showed Indonesian policy to apply TRIP’s towards the ASEAN Economic Community, divided to two policy there are Technical Policy and Non-technical Policy. Technical policy among others is perfecting device of legislation, do law enforcement in maximum level and fix the institutional administration. Non-technical policy is do socialization of intellectual property rights. This policy considered successfully showed of the increasing product amount will to patented and reduced intellectual property rights problem in Indonesia.
