  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This article aims to explain the impact of EU sanctions on Russia and the Russian Presidential Decree on cooperation in agriculture sector between the EU and Russia. Sanction No. 833/2014 European Union (EU) against Russia is an economic sanctions given by the EU towards Russia. The type of research is explanatory, the type of data used by the author in this study is qualitative and secondary data utilizing the internet as a source of data and library research. To explain the impact of EU sanctions on Russia, the author uses three theories and concepts. Theories and concepts used are the concept of sanctions, theory of conflict, and the theory of international trade. The results showed that the decrees and sanctions have a negative impact on the cooperation in the field of agribusiness between the EU and Russia. EU sanctions on Russia and the Presidential Decree not only gave negatives impact on agribusinesses EU member state but also gave a negative effect on agribusinesses and Russian imports
