• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to identify and analyze the efforts made by Iran to address the oil embargo and sanctions the European Union. This type of research is descriptive, ie comparing other studies similar to this study, and theory Realisme as well as provide an overview of Iran’s efforts in addressing the EU embargo and sanctions. The data will be presented in this research is secondary data, ie data obtained through literature review, either through books journals, articles, scientific papers, and internet access are considered relevant to the themes raised in this study. The technique of data used is the research library techniques are techniques literature review by gathering information from a variety of existing literature such as books, magazines, articles that are in print, and internet access. The results showed that Iran’s efforts in addressing the EU embargo and sanctions is to cut oil supplies to the EU that Iran never cooperate with the EU in the oil trade, Greece, Spain, Italy is the largest producer of which Greece, Spain, Italy. Iran will close the Strait of Hormuz, which is one important pathway world’s oil shipments. in this case Iran also increase production of oil and gas in overcoming economic decline due to the embargo made by the EU.
