The bubble economy that strikes Japan causes so many economic problems that leads to long-term economic crisis, when the economy going down, governments that see the popularity of Japanese content abroad finally considers the content industry and creative industries have the potential to become one of the new economic backbones. Cool Japan program was finally inaugurated with the main goal to popularize Japanese content abroad so that later can form a nation brand and help Japan overcome the economic problems post-bubble economy. In its implementation, Cool Japan program has various forms of attractive promotion aimed at strengthening the nation’s brand in the international world, such as international exhibition, broadcasting local content abroad, and creative industry cooperation between countries.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The purpose of this research is explaining the reason of gas cooperation between the Chinese government and the Russian government. The concept used in this research is strategic cooperation and energy security. The method is descriptive research to explaining the causal relationship of gas energy cooperation between China and Russia. For the sampling data’s technique is using secondary data. The result shows that gas cooperation between China and Russia began in May 2014 concisted the construction of several projects such as construction of gas pipeline, construction of gas storage and gas fired power, construction of Amur processing plant and funds. This research shows that the interests of China to be achieved through this cooperation is to meet the needs of China’s gas energy security by 2020. While the interests of Russia to be achieved through this cooperation is to open up a new Russian energy market in the Asian region.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Aceh on December 26, 2004 took about thousands lives and destroyed all aspects of life support such as houses and infrastructures. This tsunami also has an impact on physical and non physical environment destructions. Based on that conditions, disaster management efforts carried out by the government and various parties from national scale and abroad that provide humanitarian assistance and engage in such disaster management activities. One of them is WWF. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Aceh’s post-tsunami reconstruction and rehabilitation activities. WWF shows their role in reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts by establishing and running several programs such as TFA, monitoring illegal logging, rehabilitation of coastal ecosystems (Green Coast Project), and watershed management (DAS).
