  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Damaged peatlands in West Kalimantan due to poor management practices has encouraged the Indonesian government to work with the Netherlands government on resolving the problem through Quick Assesment and Nation Wide Screening (QANS). The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation of the cooperation between Indonesia and Netherlands. it is a descriptive study which used secondary data resources.Research questions is analysed by concept of functional cooperation and environmentalism.The results described the implementation of the cooperation between both countries which has been decided on several programs that will be implemented as the first step of peatlands restoration effortsin West Kalimantan. These programs includes geological activities such aslowland mapping and measurements, sustainable peatlands preservation, promoting agroforestry, modelling and mapping, and guidance on policy making about peatland management.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The objective of this descriptive study is to examine and describe Colombian goverment interests on its participation in NATO’s program, Cooperative Security Through Partnership, using secondary data resources where the problem will be analyzed by the use of the theories of collective security and national interest concept. The results described Colombia’s interests in CSTP NATO which are political interests and security and defense interests.Colombia’s political interests are to show the capabilities of its government to the Colombian citizens and international society in order to regain and increase its credibility in front of both the Colombians and the international society, in terms of resolving its national security issues. Colombia’s security and defense interests are to reinforce and to upgrade the quality of Colombian National Armed Forces through military collective trainings with NATO, and to increase and intensify bilateral and multilateral cooperations on security sector, especially with NATO countries.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Indonesia as the one of the producing countries of various types of processed timber which produce wood such as sawn timber, plywood and other wood products, and pulp for paper making. Indonesia continues to develop and produce non-oil export commodities and one of the non-oil export destination countries in this case to plywood products is Japan. Focused to Strategy by the Government of Indonesia in improving the quality of plywood and export volume of plywood to Japan. The research method used in preparing this thesis is descriptive analysis. Techniques of collecting data using literature review, using secondary data types. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The results showed that the Indonesian government in an effort to improve the quality of plywood and increase export volume is through two ways, namely the Intensive Silvification System is a system that is applied to maintain the forest so as to produce good quality wood products through reforestation and repair activities the technique of cutting trees, and the establishment of BPB is an agency that is tasked to assist Indonesian exporters to market their plywood products to be able to enter in the Japanese market and able to compete with timber exporter countries which is also potential in the international market

Based on this condition, the government undertook reform of horticultural import policy. The result of this research found that the basis of The Gulf’s supports for Mansour Hadi’s government is to maintain the stability of Middle Eastern security from the threat of widespread revolt. Operation Decisive Storm has the potential to affect the balance of power in the region for many years to come and shift many traditional political and military parameters in the Arab World and the larger Middle East. The success or failure of the operation is contingent on its ability to achieve its objectives and replicate its actions in the countries that suffer from experiences similar to that of Yemen.
