  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Food was a very important thing for the state and society, rice production in Riau in the last five years has decreased due to the conversion of wet land to palm plantation so it must import from neighbors provinces to meet the needs. This research aims to determine the implementation of SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to improve rice food security in Riau. As well as to explained the conditions, SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) along with food security programs. The program was implemented since 2015 and will end in 2030. So to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of the program can not be saw significantly. Some programs that have were launched still need to be re-evaluated in order to create results as desired. In addition, the province of Riau is not as a rice granary so to achieve the results definitely require the right strategy and good. Efforts to improve food security (rice) in Riau has not yielded significant results.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The problem of child hunger in Yemen is an unresolved problem as the number continues to rise due to the conflict in the country, supported by Yemen as a poor country in the Arabian Peninsula. Research aims to identify the barriers experienced by UNICEF in addressing child hunger in Yemen. As well as explaining the role of UNICEF, and programs undertaken by UNICEF. The type of research used in this study is descriptive data presented are secondary data taken from books, mass media, articles, internet, and other sources that are considered relevant to the research problem. To analyze this research the author uses literature review technique. The concept used is the theory of International Organization and Concept of Hunger. The results show that UNICEF is running a malnutrition program through the Humanitarian Action Program for Children conducted in 2011-2016, this program can not completely eradicate child hunger, but this program can at least reduce the number of hunger that occurred in Yemen. The programs undertaken are inseparable from UNICEF’s obstacles, among others; Ongoing conflict conditions, access to inaccessible aid distribution, and poor food and funding increases

Marijuana regulation initiate by president Jose Mujica of Uruguay passed by congress to become law 19.172 on December 20, 2013. With this act, Uruguay aims to reduce the sale of illegal marijuana, control the marketing and use of marijuana under the control of IRCCA, opening up new jobs for farmers marijuana, reducing the problems that arise as a result of marijuana. The study aims to determine the impacts of the legalization of marijuana in Uruguay during the reign of Jose Mujica. The results showed that the impact of the legalization of marijuana in Uruguay during the reign of Jose Mujica is infict internal impacts like affects the circulation of illegal cannabis, the price of marijuana illegal, the level of violence, and cannabis consumption. The legalization of marijuana also infict external impacts like legalization of marijuana in Chili, legalization of marijuana in Jamaika, legalization of marijuana in Colombia, and legalization of marijuana in Mexico.

More than half of their citizens had to lived below the Poverty line ever since 1970s until 1990s. To helped Bangladesh overcome their Poverty Problem, The purpose of this study is to find out how UNDP’s efforts in tackling the poverty problem in Bangladesh. This problem will be analyzed using the theory of poverty and the role of international organizations. UNDP established 3 Major Work Programs to assist Bangladesh’s poverty concerns in 2007, namely Support Sustainable and Inclusive Planning, Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction and also National Social Protection Strategy. In addition to its own three programs, UNDP is also working with other International Organizations, including the Australian Agency for International Development (AUSAID) and the National Adaptation Plan Global Support Program (NAP-GSP)

The type of research is explanative analysis, the technique of data analyze is qualitative and using secondary data from internet and library research. To explain Turkey’s interest to join Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the author uses regional security theory and national interest theory. The results of this study indicated that Turkey’s interest to join fully in the SCO is based on the national interests developed by the AKP, the interests of security and economic. In the interest of security, Turkey wants to prevent the trans-national crime of drug trafficking and the spread of the influence of terrorism, in addition to the uncertainty of the membership in the European Union. In the economic interests, Turkey wants to increase national GDP by establishing free trade agreements with the member of the SCO, especially Russia and China, and with the increasing demands energy in the country, Turkey needs to participate in energy trading in Central Asia, so that the position of Turkey can be a supplier of energy from Central Asia to Europe.

Neo-Realism and Security Dilemma concept as theoretical framework.Thisresearchused the secondarydata. The results showed that the Russian government’s reaction to the deployment of NATO forces in Eastern Europe on 2017 received a negative response from Russia. From the internal side of Russia opted out from the NATO-Russia Cooperation Council, preparing their military strength. From the external side, Russia cooperate with China, Iran and India to balance the power of NATO so that they create a bipolar system in the international world order.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The tsunami in 2004 had caused the death toll, which also affected the mental condition of the survivors. Another impact was the damage to its infrastructure such as houses, places of worship, schools, health centers, and government buildings. To reduce said impact, it was necessary to implement the Aceh-made safer through disaster risk reduction (DRR-A) Project 2009-2012 program. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of DRR-A had given a significant contribution. spontacts in zug DRR-A had successfully legitimize the regulation of Qanun ratification as the legal basis for the implementation of DRR-A. The DRR-A program was also succeed in establishing institutions, namely the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Disaster Risk Reduction Forum (DRR Forum), implementing the Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (PRBBK) Program, improving the Tsunami Disaster Mitigation Research Center (TDMRC), establishing a Master degree for disaster management program at Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH), promoting safe culture program (an anticipative toward natural disaster) for public awareness through social media, establishment of Public Awareness Coordination Committee (PACC), establishment of Journalists of Aceh Disaster Cares Forum (FJAB), and integrating the comprehension of Understanding Disaster Risk Reduction to the school curriculum. Swisscontact is one of the non-governmental organization that helps developing countries. One of the Swisscontact program is to develop the tourism industry in partner countries. The tourism industry is a social phenomenon, cultural and economic mobility needs of to countries or places outside their usual environment for personal or business / professional. Thus, tourism has implications on the economy, the natural environment, local residents andlocal tourist. Currently, the tourism industry became one of the most important economic sector for many countries, especially in Indonesia. The results showed that the Swiss and Indonesianis for people cooperation in the tourism industry in Wakatobi has shown results. Some programs are done by Swisscontact is through promotional programs to increase tourist visits. Swisscontact has also conducted training human resources and developing the private sector in Wakatobi are incorporated into the program WISATA.
