  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Indonesia is a country that has a very strategic geographical area and location. This makes Indonesia must have many warships to secure its sea territory. However, Indonesia is actually conducting defense cooperation with the UK in the construction of firgata ships, which are only 2 units. This cooperation raises many questions, especially what Indonesia’s interests are derived from this cooperation with the UK. The focus of this research is to analyze what interests are brought by Indonesia in the frigata shipbuilding cooperation with the UK. The research method uses qualitative research methods and uses secondary data as the main data and uses document study analysis techniques as data validity techniques. To be able to analyze Indonesia’s interests, researchers use the concept of national interest by Donald E Nuechterlain which divides national interests into 4 dimensions of interest, namely Defense, Economy, Regional order, and Ideology. From the results of the analysis, the researcher concluded that Defense interests and Economic Interests are the interests carried by Indonesia in the cooperationin theconstructionofthisfrigate.Thefirstinterestisdefenseandsecurity. The Indonesian government sees that with the cooperation in building frigates with the UK this can be a way or an effort to fulfill Indonesia’s defense and security interests with the aimof increasing its defense capability so that it can cover the ALKI area as well as Indonesia’s vast sea area. second economic interests. The cooperation between Indonesia and the United Kingdom in the construction of this frigate is one of the efforts of the Indonesian government to be able to secure its sea area so that the economic potential of Indonesian waters can be maximized so as to be able to increase the country’s foreign exchange.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): As a transboundary river and one of the foremost rivers in Asia, the Yarlung-Tsangpo river played a crucial role in sustaining life in China, India, and Bangladesh. Dissimiliar to India and Bangladesh that prioritize the river flow for irrigation, fisheries, and transportation, China sees enormous potential for hydropower. This eventually prompted the government to build a large dam on the Yarlung-Tsangpo River near the South Asian border. However, the plan to build a hydropower dam has drawn protests, especially from India and Bangladesh. As a middle riparian country, India is concerned about China’s activities upstream. On the other hand, Bangladesh as the lowest riparian country, is concerned about China’s and India’s upstream activities in the Yarlung Tsangpo. Through the concept of national interest and energy security, it is known that the dam construction plan is related to the China’s national interests. China’s rapid economic growth over the decades has at the same time increased the demand for energy. China has a huge energy needs to build cities and industries. Therefore, the government wants to apply energy efficiency to meet its energy needs and reduce its greenhouse gas emissions.Nevertheless, the construction of the mega dam on the Yarlung Tsangpo River is also a domestic policy aimed at accelerating economic development in the western region of China and its border areas. The Chinese government wants to reduce the economic disparity between eastern and western China, as well as create a positive perception and improve the living standards of people in border areas.

The discovery of gas reserves is also a serious concern. So that Egypt took the initiative to form a regional forum called The Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) in 2020 which focuses on regional cooperation related to export and import of gas. In analyzing Egypt’s interests in forming the EMGF in the Eastern Mediterranean region, a geoeconomic concept is used which shows that there are several Egyptian interests in forming the EMGF, namely increasing the volume of gas exports, protecting waters in the Eastern Mediterranean region, as well as becoming a new gas market for the European Union and becoming a gas center in the region Eastern Mediterranean.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The issue of femicide has been a serious problem in Mexico for a long time. This issue has since then become a serious concern for UN Women to solve. This research aims to understand the role of UN Women in overcoming femicide in Mexico in 2014-2020. This study uses descriptive research and collects data by applying library research. The data analysis technique used is qualitative where the researcher explains the data based on the facts that have been collected. Based on the analysis conducted, UN Women is known to have started various assistance programs for the women’s community in Mexico as a manifestation of its resolution to deal with the problem of Femicide since 2014. Through these various programs, UN Women has shown its solid position as an international organization that acts as an instrument through the Consular protocol program. development for Mexico Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Center of Excellence on Gender Statistics (CEGS). In addition, organizing various forums, research and conference activities such as the XVI International Meeting on Gender Statistics, Media Conference for Gender Equalit, Conference on Gender Equality and Measurement of Unpaid Care and Domestic Work, as well as The Generation Equality Forum have placed UN Women as an arena. Meanwhile, UN Women’s role as an independent actor is also realized through the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women program and the holding of Spotlight intiatitive. In the end, even though UN Women has initiated quite a number of programs aimed at handling and preventing femicide in Mexico, statistics show the number of incidents and victims of femicide continues to increase. This means that the presence of UN Women in Mexico has not played a significant role in reducing Femicide in Mexico.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Jenis data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah jenis data sekunder, yang bersumber dari dokumen atau literatur dari berbagai macam sumber seperti jurnal penelitian, surat kabar, internet, karya ilmiah, skripsi, dan lainnya yang berisi informasi dan data yang relevan terkait penelitian yang dilakukan. Dalam menjelaskan upaya UNICEF dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anak di Afrika Selatan dan hubungannya terhadap peran organisasi internasonal digunakan teori peran organisasi internasional dan teori kesejahteraan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa upaya UNICEF dalam bentuk kegiatan/program kerja dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anak di Afrika Selatan yaitu bekerjasama dengan pemerintah afrika selatan dalam merumuskan kebijakan, program Isibindi dan Safe Parks, Private Sector Fundraising and Donor, Last Mile Plan for EMTCT (Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission), dan bantuan pendidikan.

Finland is a country of destination and transit for trafficking people, and to some extent also acting as a country of origin. There are several types of human trafficking that happened in Finland such as labour exploitation, sexual exploitation, forced marriage, forced begging and criminality. This research was conducted by using descriptive research with data collection technique through library research. Then, this research used qualitative data analysis as an approachment to analyse data. This research concludes that the Finnish Government efforts to subdue human trafficking in their country through the implementation of The Council of Europe with amendment of the International Protection Act and adopted new Government Action Plan 2016-2017. Then coordination with several parties, like Nordic-Baltic Partnership with Passenger Ferry Companies to Encounter Trafficking in Human Beings on the Baltic Sea”, Developing National Mental Health Policies for Refugees (PALOMA), Caring for Trafficked Person in Finland (HOIKU), and coordination with the police and attorney’s office, one could say, have not been successful as there had been an increase in number of victims from 2015-2020.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to describe the role of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020, where cases of child labor in Vietnam are still quite high. The high rate of child labor in Vietnam is caused by several factors such as economic inequality and social life, as well as an increase in internal migration from villages to cities in search of work. The type of research used is descriptive research using secondary data obtained through library research and then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of the ILO in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020 is divided into three roles of international organizations namely as instruments, arenas and actors through the ILO-ENHANCE program, where as an instrument the ILO has a role in assisting the Vietnamese government to adjust and harmonizing the National Law on child labor in accordance with international standards, then in its role as an ILO arena facilitating meetings of the ILO International training center (ICT) workshop activities between Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam, while in its role as an actor the ILO applies the intervention model in Vietnam such as helping to provide livelihood support to economically vulnerable families. All of the ILO’s roles are integrated into the ILO-ENHANCE program. Through the program implemented by the ILO, the number of child labor cases in Vietnam has been successful in decreasing, where based on the results of the 2012 child labor survey and the 2018 survey showed a decrease in child labor cases. These results indicate that the role of the ILO through the ILO-ENHANCE program in dealing with the problem of child labor in Vietnam in 2015-2020 had a significant impact.

Namun dalam perkembangannya, kawasan hutan di Berau mengalami kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, baik dalam pengelolaan hutan serta faktor eksternal, dengan maraknya kasus illegal logging yang dikonversi ke lahan pertambangan ilegal. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengantisipasi dan meminimalisir kasus tersebut, berbagai cara dilakukan berbagai upaya telah dilakukan baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah pembentukan Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) sebagai langkah reformasi kehutanan dirancang pada tahun 2007. Namun dalam pengerjaannya terdapat beberapa kendala pelaksanaan program ini yaitu keterbatasan dana, beberapa program teknis cocok untuk implementasi di lapangan, dan kurangnya pengetahuan. masyarakat menuju sistem pengelolaan hutan. Oleh karena itu, Jerman memberikan bantuan dalam bentuk program kerjasama antara Indonesia dan Jerman yang dapat memberikan bantuan teknis dan keuangan untuk mendukung pelaksanaan program. Ke menganalisis penelitian ini menggunakan teori Environmentalisme dengan melibatkan peran pihak eksternal yaitu Sosialisasi Program, Penyaluran Bantuan, dan Implementasi Program dilaksanakan oleh GIZ Jerman. Melalui berbagai pendekatan dan bantuan yang disalurkan, hasilnya menunjukkan keberhasilan FORCLIME faktor adalah sosialisasi program dan pendekatan top-down, mengenai mengurangi emisi karbon domestik melalui pelestarian lingkungan disertai dengan pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat setempat

Tingginya kasus berbasis gender di Afrika Selatan didasarkan pada beberapa faktor seperti ketidaksetaraan gender, kesenjangan sosial dan ekonomi, kurangnya pemberdayaan perempuan dan kurangnya penerapan hukum dan peraturan yang berlaku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran UN Women dalam penanggulangan Kekerasan Berbasis Gender di Afrika Selatan dibagi menjadi peran internasional. organisasi sebagai arena dan aktor yang dapat dilihat melalui program-program yang telah dilaksanakan. Dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai arena, UN Women menjadi forum yang memfasilitasi Afrika Selatan untuk menyelenggarakan dan berpartisipasi dalam forum-forum internasional. Sedangkan dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai aktor, UN Women memiliki landasan tersendiri dalam menjalankan programnya tanpa ada intervensi dari pihak lain. Program UN Women di Afrika Selatan antara lain Spotlight Initiative 2019, UN Safe Cities and Safe Public Spaces Global Flagship Initiative di Cape Town 2014, dan HeForShe 2019. Melalui program yang dilaksanakan UN Women, jumlah kasus perkosaan di Afrika Selatan menurun . Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa peran UN Women berdampak signifikan dalam menangani kekerasan berbasis gender di Afrika Selatan selama periode 2014–2021.
