  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research was aimed to find out how Finnish Government overcome human trafficking on their country in 2015-2020. Finland is a country of destination and transit for trafficking people, and to some extent also acting as a country of origin. There are several types of human trafficking that happened in Finland such as labour exploitation, sexual exploitation, forced marriage, forced begging and criminality. This research was conducted by using descriptive research with data collection technique through library research. Then, this research used qualitative data analysis as an approachment to analyse data. This research concludes that the Finnish Government efforts to subdue human trafficking in their country through the implementation of The Council of Europe with amendment of the International Protection Act and adopted new Government Action Plan 2016-2017. Then coordination with several parties, like Nordic-Baltic Partnership with Passenger Ferry Companies to Encounter Trafficking in Human Beings on the Baltic Sea”, Developing National Mental Health Policies for Refugees (PALOMA), Caring for Trafficked Person in Finland (HOIKU), and coordination with the police and attorney’s office, one could say, have not been successful as there had been an increase in number of victims from 2015-2020.
