• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The humanitarian crisis that occurred in Afghanistan was caused by a conflict between the United States in carrying out its foreign policy called the War on Terrorism against the Taliban insurgent group and had quite a heavy impact on almost all sectors of life for the country and placed the country of Afghanistan in the status of Complex Humanitarian Emergency. Cordaid as an international organization engaged in the humanitarian field is present independently trying to help the problems of the humanitarian crisis that is happening in the country by carrying out several work programs such as Bright Future, Shelter for Women, and The Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding (CSPPS). Cordaid’s role has been quite significant in dealing with several problems in Afghanistan, but Cordaid is deemed unable to solve the overall humanitarian crisis that occurred in Afghanistan because the efforts made by Cordaid are still not in accordance with what the country of Afghanistan needs.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research aims to explain Iranian efforts to mitigate the effects of the United States embargo in 2018. This research used a secondary data. This research used supply and demand theory and the embargo concept. This research show that the efforts made by Iran to improve its economy are not successful enough in handling its economy, where by strengthening its oil export activities to China and selling oil through the stock market, Iran continues to decline from 2.2 million barrels per day with oil revenues worth 40 billion dollars in 2018 to 762,779 barrels per day with oil revenues worth 25 billion dollars in 2021. Furthermore, efforts to strengthen trade have not been able to cover the decline in outgoing oil export revenues and in establishing a financial mechanism between Iran and the European Union did not go smoothly to overcome the International payment system from Iran with Europe Union countries so that Iran’s inflation is still high from 39.9% in 2018 to 43.2% in 2021.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Since the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, online CSEC problems have become increasingly dynamic and continue to increase. The government realizes its limitations in dealing with online CSEC issues and then invites Google Indonesia to commit to ensuring the safety and comfort of children on its platform, namely YouTube. Through a special feature, namely YouTube Trusted Flagger which involves the local NGO ECPAT Indonesia as a Trusted Partner. During 20182021 this program encountered several obstacles in dealing with CSEC online through digital campaigns. The concept used in this study is the Digital Campaign from Leon Oostegard and CSEC Online from ECPAT Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with analytical descriptive and data sources obtained from literature, books, and articles from official institutions related to the handling of CSEC in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate several obstacles; found a lack of response and reporting facilities from the YouTube platform, the government that has not considered online CSEC as an urgent problem, and limited human resources from ECPAT Indonesia in reporting CSEC content on the YouTube platform. However, ECPAT Indonesia continues to explore more effective and innovative programs in dealing with various cases of CSEC both offline and online in Indonesia

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a global economic development instrument, utilized by China in 2013 to establish cooperation with different countries in various regions, one of them is the Middle East region. China’s cooperation in the Middle East region is concentrated on certain countries with the abundant energy sources, one of them is Iraq. Iraq has established cooperation with China since 2003 focusing on the oil and infrastructure sectors, established strategic cooperation under the BRI framework in 2015, and then officially joined China’s BRI project in 2019. But behind the decision to join the BRI, Iraq itself still has vital problems in the economic, politic, and also security sectors. In this research, it was found that there are two aspects behind Iraq’s decision to join the BRI, namely National Interest and Regionalism. This raises questions as to why Iraq joined China’s BRI project in 2019. Therefore, this research is expected to examine more deeply about the reason why Iraq joined China’s Belt and Road Initiative project in 2019.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This thesis examines the role of GIZ in facing climate change through DA-REDD+ FORCLIME in Kapuas Hulu District since the collaboration was signed, 2010 to 2020. Through the COP-13 the UNFCCC agreed on a global mechanism for reducing GHG emissions from the forestry sector, it is REDD+. The presence of REDD+ has made many member countries of UNFCCC participate in its implementation with various forms of projects, one of which is FORCLIME which is a collaborative program of the Indonesian government represented by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and the German government by GIZ and KfW. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research types. The concept used in this research is environmentalism with environmental ethics paradigm by Sony Keraf. The results of this study found that from 2010 to 2020 GIZ has played a role in implementing and supporting various collaboration programs of FORCLIME in tackling climate change in Kapuas Hulu as DA-REDD+. The role of GIZ in Kapuas Hulu is more focused on capacity building through various meetings or trainings, such us carbon inventory training, biodiversity inventory training in the National Park to entrepreneurship training.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to describe how the Indonesian – European Union palm oil disputes were resolved at the WTO as a result of the RED II policy and the Delegated Regulation which Indonesia considered discriminated against CPO where the European Union issued the RED II policy and the Delegated Regulation which categorized palm oil as the only vegetable oil commodity the risk of ILUC is high because it causes deforestation and will be reduced slowly to 0% in 2030 to meet the renewable energy target of 32% in 2030. The author uses descriptive research methods and literature analysis with primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique is qualitative. The results of the study show that Indonesian CPO actually has an important role in meeting the demand for vegetable oil in the EU and the EU will use sunflower oil as an alternative. Indonesia itself before the RED II policy was enacted had made various efforts for sustainable CPO such as ISPO, PSR, One Map Policy, Indonesia-Dutch Cooperation for sustainable palm oil, Indonesia-Switzerland CPO trade agreement, Meeting of world palm oil producing countries, and others. Lastly the Oil Palm Diplomacy Joint Mission. However, the European Union still enforces the RED II policy so that Indonesia decides to file a lawsuit through the WTO because of discrimination by the European Union and for Indonesia this has violated WTO trade regulations. This dispute is registered with the WTO under case number DS593 and is already at the panel stage. Until now, this case has not yet released the results from the panel.

The implementation of National Sword policies greatly affects exporters, such as Hong Kong. With the National Sword policy, Hong Kong has to manage its own waste. Hong Kong also made a series of programs to increase recycling activities and reduce their waste, especially plastic, paper and textile waste. This study aims to describe Hong Kong’s efforts to overcome the impacts of National Sword policy in 2018-2020. The author uses a qualitative research method with primary and secondary data types obtained through a literature study of the World Trade Organization, UN Comtrade, Hong Kong Government’s data, and articles obtained from the internet. The data has been obtained is then studied an elaborated through Matthew Paterson’s green political theory so as to find comprehensive analysis results. The results of the research show that Hong Kong has made several efforts to reduce waste, increase recycling, and educate the public about the importance of protecting the environment.

Kerja sama di bidang keamanan terjalin karena menangani masalah warisan perang serta terlibatnya kedua negara dalam konflik di Laut Tiongkok Selatan. Keberpihakan Amerika Serikat terhadap Vietnam dalam konflik Laut Tiongkok Selatan membuat Amerika Serikat menawarkan peningkatan kemitraan menjadi strategis untuk lebih mempererat hubungan keduanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perspektif Vietnam mengenai pertimbangannya terhadap tawaran peningkatan hubungan kemitraan menjadi strategis dengan Amerika Serikat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deksriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan menggunakan data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pertimbangan Vietnam terhadap tawaran Amerika Serikat untuk meningkatkan kemitraan berdasarkan pengaruh internal dan eksternal, seperti mempertahankan prinsip pertahanan negaranya dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan Tiongkok di tengah konflik Laut Tiongkok Selatan.
