  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The high demands of fossil energy caused the depletion of energy reserves, developed to various formsof renewable energy cooperation, one of them by USAID in Indonesia through a program called Indonesia Clean Energy Development (ICED). ICED is a program that supports the development of renewable energy and reduces the use of fossil energyand helps in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by developing renewable energy. This program was held in three different locations, North Sumatera, Riau and Aceh. North Sumatera became the focus of this research as the implementation of ICED in this location are technically planning assistance, design and implementation of renewable energy program and strategy development based on the standard of industry, regulation and administration of small scale clean energy project and institutional capacity development training for North Sumatera.
