  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to analyze and describe the involvement of Indonesia and Malaysia in the settlement of the conflict in southern Thailand. Conflict in Southern Thailand is a conflict caused of the discriminatory treatment to an area that has a different cultural basis namely South Thailand, made public in this region claim their right and demonstrate even do some anarchists to many casualties Thai nationals citizens. Indonesia and Malaysia in this regard is a country close to the borders of Thailand also have some cooperation and fear of threats to their security state makes Indonesia and Malaysia is willing to help Thailand to resolve the conflict in southern Thailand. Its involvement in Indonesia is willing to be a mediator in the meeting and Malaysia is willing to be a facilitator. Indonesia and Malaysia had a different time of involvement, Indonesia in 2008 and Malaysia in 2013 until 2016.The results showed that the efforts that have been taken by Indonesia and Malaysia in this case has been going well. Indonesia and Malaysia for its involvement in the Southern Thailand conflict quite successful in bringing together the two sides of the conflict and to mediate communication intensive, but, in this case Malaysia has committed more than Indonesia.
