  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research had purpose to acknowledge how people from Ulu-Masen, Aceh responding to the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation program inside Ulu-Masen Tribe areal of forest. Type of research used in this report is descriptive analysis which contained the description of response from Ulu-Masen, Aceh people regarding this International System REDD, in this case implemented in Ulu-Masen areal of forest, and also the defiance faced by REDD to operate the mechanism itself. Type of data used in this research are secondary data which collected from, books, literatures, articles, official websites regarding the following subject, research department websites, and other official websites that related to the theme and subject of this research. Results given from this research showed that the response from people of Ulu-Masen Tribe, Aceh were negative and those response influenced by perception and ideology regarding the forest itself. However, the presence of REDD program is highly required to suppress greenhouse gas emission level related to global warming, counseling and all the act of socialization still has to be done by local government in Aceh with cooperation along Flora Fauna International.

This is a descriptive study, which aimed to find out what are the reasons to postpone the Indonesian government ratified the Rome Statute of 1998. This study used quslitative research methods. In this study the authors use the concept of National Interest and Asian Value concept that are used is to perform the analysis in this study. Data analysis technique is qualitative analysis. The results showed that the Indonesian government reason to postpone ratifying the Rome Statute of 1998 is based on the national interests of Indonesia, where the Indonesian government considers that there are some provisions in the Rome Statute of 1998 quite burdensome with regard to economic, political, legal, social and historically Indonesia.

This research tries to explain how the relationship between countries in the South Asian region amid rising military power of India and its impact on South Asian security.This study found that the increase in the military strength of India, supported by the growing Indian economy, the conflict between India and Pakistan, as well as to emphasize the political and military authorities of India towards the Indian Ocean.
