  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The results of this research described the Indonesia’s efforts to securing Sulawesi and Sulu territorial water consisting of internal and external securitization efforts. Internal effort is increasing supervision and security activities through intense patrols as a preventive and repressive effort by TNI AL and Bakamla along the Sulawesi sea. While external effort is initiate a cooperative security with the Philippines and Malaysia that have been implemented in 2017. In this cooperation, the three countries agreed on six points of policy: joint/coordinated patrol, formation of hotline communication, emergency aid, sharing intelligence, joint exercises, and automatic identification system.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The aim of this research is to find out why the UK made claims against the territory of the Antarctic Peninsula. This is a descriptive research which is analyzed by theory Geopolitic, using descriptive research type. The data presented in this research is a secondary data. The results of this study indicate that there are at least two British interests in making their claims on the territory of the Antarctic Peninsula. These are interest is control of the territory as evidenced by the naming of some of the territories included in the claim and the determination of the territory claimed as a British overseas, as well as some efforts which one of them promotes that the region is British sovereignty in Antarctica. The second interest is the mastery of the existence of resources as evidenced by the presence of fisheries potential, tourism potential, and the prediction of natural resources in the region.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research aims to identify and describe about the role of UNESCO on conservation site of Palmyra at Syria in years 2016 to 2018. The Author conducted research by using descriptive method with secondary data which obtained by library research as data collection technique with sources comes through the books, scientific journals, and internet sources. Those data have been obtained then elaborated through qualitative data analysis techniques with the use of the role of international organization theory and conservastion concept. The results of this research described the role of UNESCO on conservation site of Palmyra at Syria is an aspect of functionality that must be carried out in accordance with its operational functions, thus involving international collaboration between members and various institutions, then carrying out various forms of international communication and information such as conducting an international campaign to save Palmyra site. The role of UNESCO carried out with technical program in the form of conservation of the Palmyra site which began since 27 April 2016. The conservation program applied to the site of Palmyra is carried out in six forms of conservation consisting of preservation, replication, reconstruction, restoration, revitalitation, and rehabilation.

External effort is done with Diplomacy of Cultural that is building image of natural wealth and the world looking of Indonesian culture especially UNESCO. The government of Indonesia has reached the third stage with the entry of Karst Sangkulirang Mangkalihat in the UNESCO tentative list Ref : 6009 dated January 30, 2015.
