The effect of climate change has become a shared responsibility to minimize and save the future.This research aims to explain Norway’s efforts to face global climate change in Brazil.This research uses descriptive type that discuss analytic happens from global warming and efforts made Norway in anticipating and reducing the effects of global warming, in particular efforts to cooperate with Brazil. Environmentalism theory used in this research on issues related to environment and sustainable development. Sustainable development is done for the sake of a common goal in the framework of modernity and globalization. When modernity and globalization then give effect to the expansion of the economy where technology also contribute directly. Thus, with the growing industrialization of getting closer to the goal of modernity which further gives direct impact on environmental issues.The result showed the Norway has participated in international agreements related with Brasil to the environment and to cooperate with collaboration the conservation of the Amazon rain forest.

German and Indonesian government agreed to work together to reduce global warming to prepare for the implementation of REDD in Indonesia. Therefore, both countries agreed on a project Merang REDD Pilot Project (MRPP), in Merang Kepayang Peat Swamp Forest, South Sumatra in the period 2008-2011. This programs by rehabilitate degraded forest, community development through the establishment KMPH, and protection of the remaining forests Merang Kepayang Peat Swamp. This research provided by explanation and elaboration about barriers of REDD implementation between German and Indonesian Government using descriptive research methods, which describe activities or events based on facts and evidence. The data presented in primary and secondary data obtained through the GTZ-MRPP and review of the literature, by collecting data from books, newspapers, journals / MRPP and internet reports related to problems studied. The results of this research is obstacle the implementation of REDD Preparation of cooperation Germany and the Government of Indonesia, the internal and external obstacles related to a lack of public understanding, lack of media information support, weather conditions, and the unavailability of human resources to run the KPHP organization

Ebola is a deadly virus that can be transmitted between humans by direct contact with body fluids, this virus has 91% fatality for humans. The type of research that used by the author is library research, by collecting secondary data which allows the author to explain and provide the data of WHO and Ebola. This study uses a case study that illustrates the settlement of the case means a problem with applying the theories and concepts used, the results of this study were four attempts WHO is working with governments, patners and citizen in West Africa to stop the spread of the Ebola virus in three countries of greatest impact Liberia, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): US foreign policy in Korean Peninsula during the reign of President Obama (2009-2012) is the most democratic foreign policy to this day. The aim of this research is to define the US foreign policies toward Korean Peninsula in 2009 until 2012, applying foreign policy concept, conflict theory and smart diplomacy/smart power concept to analyze the US foreign policies. By now, Obama has implemented Smart Diplomacy approach as the attempt to resolve problems that arising in Korean Peninsula due to North Korea’s nuclear program. The United States supports South Korea by conducted an annual joint military exercise, which aims to make North Korea find it threatening and willing to cooperate with the United States to halt its nuclear program completely. The United States also had a meeting with China regarding North Korean issues, with expectations that China would assist United States to persuade North Korea discontinue its nuclear activities. In return for China’s assistance, the United States will facilitate China’s trade access to enter US market.

This research aims to give a description of the realization of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT. Kideco Jaya Agung to the progress of development, especially in the education sector of the society at Kecamatan Batu Sopang, by using CSR concept, where the company is responsible in creating reliable human resources and in community development process. In community developing process, based on Human Development concept by UNDP, in distribution of development to the community in the improvement on every sectors, especially in the education sector. The type of research that used by the author is field research, by collecting primary and secondary data which allows the author to explain and provide the data of CSR realization in the education sector. The result of this research has shown that the CSR realization of PT. Kideco Jaya Agung at Kecamatan Batu Sopang in the education sector is by giving development aid such as fund allocation to repair some public infrastructures, improving the quality of the teachers, providing tuitions for overachieving students, which gives the positive effect on educational progress for the people around the mining area, especially those who live in Kecamatan Batu Sopang with the villages within.
