• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The main subject of this research is focussed to describe about the Indonesia Governance efforts to strike and stopping against the timber smuggling in Indonesia-Malaysia national boundary, especially in Territory of Nunukan boundary which take place in 2004-2012, the objective of this research is to undertand and describing how the strategy plan work to reducting and prevent the timber smuggling and to push down the level of deforestation, and also this research will explaining about the history of timber smuggling in Indonesia-Malaysia Boundary.

  The result of the research showed that the attempts and efforts from the Indonesia Governance to strike against timber smuggling in boundary territory was met the good result even this issue has not accomplished yet, but still thats was a great success cause the governance has successfully pressing down the level of illegal logging at the boundary and also has successfully pushing down the number of deforestation.

• Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya ASEAN dalam menangani masalah peredaran dan perdagangan narkotika ilegal di kawasan Asia Tenggara dalam rangka mencapai drug free ASEAN 2015 tahun 2009-2012. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, yang mana memberikan gambaran dan menjelaskan mengenai upaya ASEAN dalam menangani perdagangan narkotika di Asia Tenggara. Data-data yang disajikan adalah data sekunder, yaitu data yang penulis peroleh dari berbagai buku, majalah, artikel, jurnal, diktat, internet dan surat kabar yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah content analysis.

  Hasil penelitian adalah peran ASEAN dalam menangani perdagangan narkotika di Asia Tenggara adalah mendorong negara-negara di Asia Tenggara untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam penanggulangan perdagangan narkotika. Dalam perkembangannya, perdagangan narkotika mendapat perhatian penting dari para menteri luar negeri ASEAN melalui pengesahan Joint Declaration for a Drug-Free ASEAN 2020 yang dikeluarkan pada sidang AMM ke 31 bulan Juli 1998 di Manila, Filipina. Selanjutnya seluruh menteri menyetujui target percepatan untuk mewujudkan Drug Free yang awalnya ditargetkan tahun 2020 menjadi 2015. ASOD sebagai pilar utama ASEAN memiliki empat kelompok kerja, yaitu: pendidikan pencegahan, perawatan dan rehabilitasi, penegakan hukum dan penelitian. Program-program ini dilengkapi dengan dibentuknya empat pusat pelatihan terkait bidang prioritas dikawasan.

Because during the process of democratic transition, Perils of democracy itself arise and affect the conditions of conflict that has been going on since the 16th century. Perils from democration is Lack of Trust and The Agony of defeat. Because without trust, the two sides will only issue a policy that will continue to hurt them and with the selfishness settlement of the problem will continue with military means. Democracy offers the settlement that can prevent the development of conflict, but the expectations given this democracy fails because there is no third party who really helpful. So all the remain is Perils that will continue to increase and in the end sovereignty is the core issues of the conflict, so Russia had decided to grant autonomy as the most secure solution for conflict resolution.

But on the other side there is also an aspect which illegally happening related to tourism. The aspect is sex tourism involving illegal transaction of sexual practice not only adult but also children.
  To address this issue, Indonesian government take actions by cooperating with a international organization for End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography, and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purpose (ECPAT). The mission is to work together and organize a national consultation to establish a network of organization in order to abolish child sex trafficking, child pornography, child sex tourism, and child marriages. Indonesian government assisted by ECPAT has develop a National Action Plan for Human Rights. This plan including the specific purpose of protecting the rights of children. It also sets the goal to against human trafficking practice and protect them from any kind of sexual tourism and also child labor practice in negative ways.

  This research aims to describe and explain the role of Greenpeace in tackling the problem of deterioration of natural forest and peat in Riau, Sumatra( Case Study : PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper). This type of research is descriptive analytic with exposing the problem and then will be analyzed systematically using the framework of thought. The data used in the writing of the secondary data is derived from books, journals, newspapers, the internet, as well as mass media-related research.
  The research results showed that Greenpeace’s role in tackling the problem of the destruction of forests through the 4 indicators, namely, advocacy, monitoring, consultation and facilitation, were successfully, but it also required the support of the Government of Indonesia to give heavy sanctions against lawbreaker, to company that have been destroying forest which have been protected by law.
