In this collaboration, the United States, provides development and research funds for India to make clean energy which will increase energy use in India. It even could distribution of electricity in villages and regions of India that are not electrified. These grants are provided by the US through the Overseas Private Investment Company (OPIC) and the US International Development Agency (USAID) through which the Indian fund can do renewable energy.
