- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The border conflict between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in 2021 became the deadliest border conflict in the history of conflict between the two countries. The conflict was caused by the Tajik government installing surveillance cameras around water facilities on the border, and Kyrgyzstan’s opposition to the installation of the cameras. The Kyrgyz side insisted on removing the cameras, resulting in a civil conflict and the conflict continued to grow so that the border military participated in the civil conflict with the initial aim of reducing the intensity of the conflict, but the border military became directly involved in the conflict between the militaries of each country and turned the conflict into a military conflict on the border of the two countries. The conflict that lasted for two days had a huge impact on the relationship between the two countries, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan agreed to negotiate and ceasefire to create peace between the two, so that the potential for other conflicts in the future could be minimized. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the process of resolving border conflicts between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in 2021 case. This research uses descriptive research methods by collecting data through documentation, online labeling research and literature. Then it is analyzed through Loren Wolfer’s illustrative method technique by applying the theory used to the case study, so that an explanation of the process of resolving the conflict between the two countries can be explained.
