  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Cashless society is an economic and cultural phenomenon whose application is inseparable from the role of patterns in business and economic activities that are carried out digitally. Cashless society can be a multiplier effect for changes in industrial behavior using technology that has started implementing the industrial revolution 4.0. Many countries that have implemented a cashless society experienced an increase in overall economic growth, both developed countries such as Sweden, which was the first country to implement a cashless society, and developing countries. Rwanda is one of the developing countries that will implement a cashless society in 2024, and since 2015 the Government of Rwanda has made various efforts to make it happen. This study aims to analyze Rwanda’s interests in realizing a cashless society in 2024 where through the concept of national interests can be seen that Rwanda’s interests are related to economic prosperity, specifically to improve people’s standards of living and create a safe and developed Rwanda.
