- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to explain the United States steel and aluminum import tariff policy to Canada in 2019. This is an explanatory research with qualitative data analysis through secondary data which is then answered by using the rational concept of model actors to show the reasons for the abolition of the United States steel and aluminum import tariff policy. The data collection technique used in this research is literature study. The results of this study is to show that the cause of the elimination of the tariff on steel and aluminum were carried out by the United States to Canada, this elimination is because of retaliation imposed by Canada makes a loss for United States, the reduction in United States steel and aluminium imports, and also disruption of trade relations between the United States and Canada in USMCA because tariff policy on steel and aluminum imports from the United States.
