- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Abstract This study aims to explain the Implementation of Privacy Shield in Using Protection of Personal Data of the European Union – the United States. This type of research is descriptive, analysis of data analysis techniques used is qualitative and uses secondary data sourced from the internet and literature. In explaining the Implementation of Privacy Shield in Using Protection of Personal Data of the European Union – United States of America, the author uses the concepts of Program Implementation, International Cooperation and Data Protection.The results of this study indicate that on 12 July 2016 the European Commission officially adopted a new agreement which is expected to protect data in both sides named the Privacy Shield framework. Privacy Shield is a data protection mechanism that uses Protection of Personal Data as a regulation to limit access and protect the transfer of personal data of citizens of the United States and the European Union.
