- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The crisis in Zimbabwe caused a number of factors such as climate change, land policy, political conflict, and was exacerbated by natural disasters in 2019, namely the cyclone Idai food storm and the COVID-19 reform pandemic in 2020. These factors caused the collapse of Zimbabwe’s agriculture and its decline. agricultural production resulting in a food crisis. This research uses Cliver Archer’s international organization theory and the concept of food crisis. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of literature review research. The results of the research explain that the role of WFP in Zimbabwe in dealing with the food crisis consists of three roles as arena instruments, actors. The programs carried out by the WFP to deal with the food crisis in Zimbabwe are divided into three roles of international organizations, namely instruments, arenas, actors. As an instrument, WFP carries out the Lean Season Assistance (LSA), Food-Assistance for-Assets (FFA), Renewed Efforts Against Child Hunger and Undernutrition (REACH) programs. Acting as an arena for WFP expands programs from FFA and LSA, while the role as an actor is in the form of a Cash Based Transfer (CBT) program. The program carried out by WFP is in accordance with Zimbabwe’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2017-2021. The presence of WFP with the implementation of its programs really helps the people of Zimbabwe to overcome the food crisis and hunger.
