  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The automotive industry is one of the important sectors in the UK. Automotive products top the list of all products exported by the UK. More than 50 percent of British automotive products are exported to the European Union. Britain’s membership in the European Union means Britain has free access to the European Union market and makes the European Union the largest market for British automotive products. Brexit or the UK’s exit from European Union membership in 2016 caused a significant decline in the automotive sector. During the 2016-2020 Brexit transition period, UK automotive product sales consistently declined. This then prompted the British government to make efforts to overcome the negative impact that occurred on the British automotive sector due to Brexit. This research is qualitative research with descriptive research methods and data obtained through books, journals and the internet. Through the concept of trade diplomacy, it is known that in overcoming the impact of Brexit on the domestic automotive industry, the British government is carrying out bilateral and multilateral diplomacy efforts.
