- Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): The Purpose of this research is to describe the diplomacy carried out by the United States in the formation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear agreement with Iran starting from 2013-2015. This research is a descriptive research type with secondary data source. Then, to explain the research question, Soft Power concept and the concept of nuclear development are used. The results of this research, show that US diplomacy in the formation of the 2013-2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action Nuclear Agreement with Iran was carried out using the Soft Power approach through bilateral diplomacy in private discussions with Iran. In addition, the United States has also joined the P5 + 1 group to diplomacy with Iran on nuclear issues, which then in 2015, the JCPOA Agreement was successfully reached between Iran, the United States and other P5 + 1 groups.
