  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This research aimed to describe China’s response to arms sales US to Taiwan in 2017-2019 under the Taiwan Relations Act, this situation has forced China to respond. The reaction was analyzed with the Concept of Action-Reaction, the Concept of Security Dilemmas, namely arms race and formation of alliances, and the concept of targeted Economic Sanctions. China’s response, among others, has been to conduct military exercises, publish security policy, the National Defense White Paper and enhance the military capabilities of the People’s Liberation Army and form an alliance with Taiwan’s diplomatic countries and plan sanctions against US companies involved in selling these weapons, such as Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky Aircraft, General Dynamic, Raytheon and Oshkosh.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): In this research, it shows the efforts of Peat Restoration Agency of Indonesia (BRG) and Korean Forest Service (KFS) to carry out restoration and prevention of destruction of peatlands in West Kalimantan, the effort being made is to create Peat Care Villages (DPG) through areas located in the Peat Hydrology Unit (KHG), KFS is very focused on developing the DPG, because with this development, the people in West Kalimantan will care more about peat land and can use it better than destroying it for building houses or building plantations, and BRG also helps this by using the 3R principle of Rewetting (wetting) is an active action or effort to rewet dry peat through the construction of wetting peat infrastructure such as canal blocking, canal filling and drilling wells, Revegetation (planting) is a restoration of land in peat ecosystems through planting native plant species in protection functions or with other types of plants that are adaptive to wetlands, and the last is Revitalization (utilization) is development of sustainable and peat-friendly livelihood activities and have economic value in cultivation functions, so as to make peatland usable and well preserved.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan alasan mengapa Amerika Serikat tetap memberlakukan embargo ekonomi terhadap Kuba pasca normalisasi hubungan diplomatik. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep politik luar negeri. Selain itu, penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai jenis penelitian eksplanatif dan sumber data diidentifikasi sebagai data sekunder yang didapatkan melalui studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Amerika Serikat tetap memberlakukan embargo ekonomi terhadap Kuba pasca normalisasi hubungan diplomatik meliputi beberapa faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu sumber eksternal merupakan sumber sistematik yaitu Kuba belum memenuhi kriteria UU LIBERTAD AS yang meliputi isu-isu HAM, demokrasi dan klaim asset warga Amerika di Kuba. Faktor kedua yaitu sumber internal AS merupakan sumber pemerintahan yaitu kemenangan partai Republik di kongres dan penolakan oleh elit di Dewan Senat.

  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): Abstract: Horticulture is an important commodity for Indonesia, to meet domestic horticultural needs Indonesia imports horticulture products from abroad, one of which is the US. The purpose of this article was to explain the condition of United States horticulture commodities trade in Indonesia’s market post the united states winning in the safeguard case in WTO. This research is a descriptive study with secondary data types and Interpretive data analysis techniques and data collection techniques used are library research. It uses the concept of free trade. The results shows that Indonesia is found guilty by the WTO. As a result, Indonesia revised its regulations through regulation Minister of Agriculture number 16 of 2017 as a revision regulation of Minister of Agriculture number 47 of 2013. In the revision, there is a change regarding the validity period of the Indonesian horticultural import permit, which was valid for 6 months, is changed to 1 year. Meanwhile, 20 types of imported horticultural products that are prohibited may enter Indonesia.
